Dealing with issues - All KLAs
As you can see from the different themes described in these teacher notes, the Dairy CRC project raises a wide range of issues that are applicable to almost all KLA areas.
This website provides a solid starting point for students to delve further into the knowledge and issues that are part and parcel of this project.
Two links on the site support them in their investigations. The first link, How do I deal with issues?, provides guidelines to help students analyse, evaluate and report on the controversial issues that are associated with using genetic engineering and gene technology. The second link, Making connections - information, provides a comprehensive set of external website links that students can explore to gain further information and alternative views on the issues that are raised by the CRC project.
