Biotechnology - Food and Technology

Students can explore the dairy Australian food industry and how new products are being designed. It is a good starting point for students to explore food production developments, including modified products.

As a futures exercise, students could brainstorm possible new (or modified) dairy products.

Possible student research questions

1. Investigation: What new or modified dairy products have been developed in recent times? or What modified dairy products are currently being researched?
2. See if you and your friends can come up with three new or modified dairy products that are currently being/or may be researched. Explain the purpose and possible market niche of these products.
