Students can explore the dairy Australian food industry and how new products are being designed. It is a good starting point for students to explore food production developments, including modified products.
As a futures exercise, students could brainstorm possible new (or modified) dairy products.
Possible student research questions
- Investigation: What new or modified dairy products have been developed in recent times? or What modified dairy products are currently being researched?
- See if you and your friends can come up with three new or modified dairy products that are currently being/or may be researched. Explain the purpose and possible market niche of these products.
