 Our Aims
The Dairy CRC's Education Program aims to:
Produce broadly trained young scientists, aware of the challenges facing the dairy industry and trained in state-of-the-art technologies to provide new solutions to industry challenges
Assist those in both industry and the public to achieve a realistic appreciation of the applications and benefits of these technologies, to ensure benefits are understood and captured
The program has three areas.
Postgraduate Education is aimed at attracting high calibre undergraduate students to participate in the CRC. Our students obtain their degrees within a comprehensive research program driven by goals relevant to industry.
Specialist Education focuses on the development of Animal Biotechnology undergraduate and graduate diploma courses at Monash University and the University or Sydney.
Outreach aims to enhance the general community's understanding of gene technology, specifically relating to our research and its commercialisation. The initial focus is on the dairy industry.
