 Research Facilities and infrastructure
The CRC uses state-of-the-art facilities for research and commercialisation activities. It has access to:
- genomics and reproductive biology research facilities at the University of Sydney, Monash University, CSIRO Livestock Industries, the University of Melbourne, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Australian National University
- animal genetic resources, semen processing plant and facilities at Genetics Australia
- diverse genetic resources in the form of elite milking genetics, diverse sheep crossbreeds, specialised mouse models, marsupials and seals
- the dairy herd improvement database held by the Australian Dairy Herd Improvement Scheme
- milk component and processing research facilities and dairy herd resources held by research institutes.
