The CRC will receive $17 million in Australian federal government funding over seven years. Together with members' cash and in-kind contributions, this support gives the CRC access to a $90 million stream of research activity in genetic technology.
Members work through the CRC to leverage their own technological capital and experience. They will do this by contributing to and co-operating within the CRC. Members are entitled to commercialise selected intellectual property produced by the CRC. They also have equity in the capital growth of the total intellectual property portfolio and its related revenue streams.The CRC offers membership to research and commercial organisations with international standing in the industry.
