Our Company  The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Innovative Dairy Products Established in 2001 by the Australian Federal Government and the dairy industry, the Dairy CRC is a seven-year $90 million research consortium involving a number of Australia's leading research institutes and commercial companies.
We aim to:
- Provide dairy farmers, processors and manufacturers with access to advanced technologies and products
- Expand the choice of health-giving milk products
- Improve the globally competitive position of milk products
Our members Our member organisations invest money in the CRC or provide "in-kind" support in return for a share in the research results. They will benefit from commercialising new products and services, accessing intellectual property (IP) and holding equity in the CRC product portfolio. Our research Our research capability is founded on more than 70 scientists working in six research institutions in multi-disciplinary teams (47 full time equivalents and 15 PhD students). Research is undertaken in two program areas: Gene Discovery and Delivery Technologies. We also have a Business Development program.
The Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) Program This CRC is part of an Australian federal government program that unites research, industry and government agencies to conduct research and development in specific areas.
